- Can you manage vacation rental homes anywhere on Cape Cod?
- In theory, our business model allows us to manage homes from Plymouth to Provincetown. However, we are Falmouth-based and our experience in Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Barnstable lets us provide guests with expert local recommendations, quick assistance, and a truly fabulous Cape Cod experience.
- What makes a home and homeowner a good fit with ProHost?
- We work with homeowners who plan to rent for multiple years — our onboarding is comprehensive and not intended for single-season arrangements. We also partner best with owners who prioritize exceptional guest experiences. Investing in guest satisfaction supports strong, year-over-year financial results and makes each stay memorable.
- Do you have your own team of cleaners, maintenance professionals, handypeople, landscapers, etc.?
- We do not have in-house cleaners or maintenance staff. Our focus is maximizing earnings and ensuring excellent guest stays. We partner with outstanding local vendors and coordinate directly with them (and guests when needed) so you don’t have to. You pay vendors directly, and we receive no compensation for their services.
- What are your management fees?
- Our boutique, hands-on service is 20% of rental revenue.
- Are there revenue or income thresholds homes need to meet?
- Yes. Each home must cover certain per-property costs and support the investments we make to continually improve our services. Thresholds can change over time and are reviewed case-by-case. If a home doesn’t meet requirements, we’re happy to offer complimentary guidance, including self-management tips or alternative approaches.
- Can you share more about onboarding, services, pricing and calendar strategy, guest communications, marketing, payouts, and more?
- Absolutely. These topics depend on your home, goals, and market. We prefer a tailored conversation — by phone, video, or an in-person walk-through (weekends included). Reach out and we’ll schedule a time that works for you.
